Thanks to the generous donation from one of our board members, we now have the ability to generate regional press releases as needed. While we have had significant press coverage over the years we have never known how nor had the funds to set up a newswire service that serves as a portal for professionally produced press releases.

Our first press release was in Late October, and it focused on our 40th Anniversary. The Newswire service walked us though the content and format and helped us release it at the most appropriate time. The results were excellent in that the story was picked up and republished by 278 websites which totaled over 148.7 million potential readers. In addition, the Associated Press pushed it out to an additional 178 news outlets across the US. Here is LINK to this press release.

While the first release did not result in any direct follow up news stories it did pave the way for future releases and helped us learn the ropes in this new arena of public information. The next release was focused on a successful search where our team was requested by the Texas Rangers to help locate the body of a missing DISD school teacher. She had been the target of multiple ground search efforts for weeks with no results. One of our HRD K9 team deployed to the target area identified by the Rangers and located the body in less than an hour. At the writing of this newsletter, we have not seen the coverage results for this latest release but expect it to be even better than the story about our anniversary. Here is a LINK to the latest release.
