Team Management
PRESIDENT
Paul Lake serves as the team president as well as being Founder and Executive Director. Having started the team in 1983 Mr. Lake spent most of his career in business management and also served ten years in law enforcement including four years as a police K9 handler in the DFW area. He is also a Search Manager as well as a K9 Handler for an Airscent K9 and a Trailing K9 (in training).
VICE PRESIDENT
John joined the team in 2014. John is a former Law Enforcement Officer where he led an Underwater Search and Recovery team in South Florida. John is a PADI certified Divemaster and Underwater Search & Recovery Specialist. John is also an FBI certified Crime Scene Technician. John holds a SARTECH II Certification from the National Association of Search and Rescue (NASAR) and also serves as a NASAR SARTECH II Evaluator. John is a Search One Rescue Team Search Manager and Flanker.
SECRETARY
Laura Flynn, EdD joined the team in 2009 and has spent her career in the field of education. She both teaches and helps develop teaching programs for early education students in the DFW area. In addition to her role as Team Secretary Laura is also a K9 Handler for HRD, Search Manager and helps train other Search Manager recruits.
TREASURER
Jerry Warren joined the team in 2013 and comes to us with a career in business management and currently serves in the role of SVP, Regional Performance Manager at Bank of America. In addition to his role of Team Treasurer Jerry also serves as our K9 Director over the Air Scent discipline and is a K9 handler in both live find and HRD.
